good price point. Like the separate frequency output port.
pros: good price point. Separate Freq output (one of the reasons I got it) Separate Modulation input too. Cons: ran it for 3 days strait. Drifts a little, but will work for AA5 tube radio alignment.

Easy to use
Unlike some of today's generators, this one is easy to use. I didn't even need to study the manual. Everything was obvious, it you have ever used one before. I don't know why these (all signal generators) are so expensive because they are just simple oscillators, but I guess it's the precision at which they run. I recommend this one.

A good instrument for the money.
I have found that it gives a decent signal through all the ranges. Of course to get the 150 to 450 MHz range it supplies a signal with an attenuated 3rd harmonic. It's usable but some equipment only sees the primary and not the harmonic. Would have been better if it had a sweep generator or FM. But good enough for most radio troubleshooting needs. Later models have a connector for adding an externa. crystal for greater stability. So if you need accuracy look for one of those.

Signal Generator
Pretty nice for the money. Works well on all bands. I happen to have a frequency meter and find that the dial readings are very close to what the output is. Plenty good for most applications. I have set the IFs on my recent kit ham radio with this unit and the radio works fine, so I know this unit will do the job on bigger radios and IFs that need tuning. I was trained as a tech in the Army. But it has been a while since I've used my skills in civilian life. This unit puts me back in the technical ability.

Its good value for what it does.
I used this for generating a stable signal to make yagi antenna reception measurements. Hooked it up to a short 20M element and it put out a good signal Frequency a bit touchy but does stabilize. This is not a unit you would make precise adjustments with but for the money paid it did a great job for what I needed.

For the price the unit works well and looks like new inside and out.
The dial is off a little but with a frequency counter you can hit the frequency you want.
