Save Your Money, Get a Metal Antenna.
I have used mobile radio antennas at base locations and they have performed equally, if not better, than this antenna. Even mounted to a large metal pole following the included instructions and guidelines, the SWR will not tune less than 1.7:1 in the 11 Meter band using brand new coax cable. This antenna does not radiate well or does not seem to be very efficient. Save your money unless you only want to talk 4-5 miles maximum.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Horrible don't bother get and Antron 99 or iMax 2000 this has been the worst antenna yet for CB radio 11 meter
Got this antenna thinking it would be ok, it looks like the antron 99 but only 12 foot, not the 18 foot of an antron should have just spent a little more and get the good antenna I've used in the past this thing is up on a 30 foot pole the SWR was a little high but the rings were adjustable so I was able to set it to 1:2 not bad then a few days go by not hearing a-lot on the radio figured people were busy I know I was so no biggie, then I got a mobile unit and went for a ride around town all within 3 miles or so and i made it about 1 and half miles away while the wife was talking to me and all of a sudden I can't hear her no more, now in in the car and there's all kinds of people around talking on the channel so when I get home and turn on the radio NOTHING it's like dead just a little white noise people are gone cant hear anything and transmit is only a few blocks seriously don't like this antenna not useable for 11 meter maybe some other band but not CB.. Don't waste your money get the better antenna get an Antron 99 or iMax 2000 it's worth it.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Works great!

Is it of good quality
I am not an expert on this from the citizen band. But with the Pat 12 antenna and ground plane kit my output signal has improved a lot. I have a Cobra 29 ltd standard and I had communication when there are good conditions from Costa Rica to Alabama also to Puerto Rico. This Product works Great. Low Profile and Light weight for tight places.

ProComm Patriot-12 - Budget Performer!
Antenna is a good deal for the money, at least for my needs. Out of the box, it didn't tune up that well. Using an antenna tuner for my radio, Seemed to be mostly resonant below 26 Mhz. I was able to get an excellent match for 10m, and an adequate match for CB, but only after chopping off 7 inches of the top whip. Is it the best antenna on the market? 10-11 meter vertical antenna.

Worst antenna ever.
A 102 in whip works so much better. These things are a joke! I've put new coax, swapped radios changed the mast length I've moved it to 3 different places and swr it over 3 no matter ring or antenna position. DO NOT BUYBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
