Sony Dock
So glad I found a replacement for my replacement. This is my third dock for my Ipod Classic. I rated this item just "ok" because I'm still experiencing problems w/ the connection. I'm not sure if it's the connection from the Ipod to the dock or the dock to the Sony system itself. The dock I replaced was clearly broken on one side of the male piece. This dock I just bought appears to be brand new w/o any visible faults so I'm not sure why I'm having the occassional glitch w/ the sound coming out (the sound is excellent by the way when it does come out). I have to keep playing w/ the Ipod connection and sometimes even turn off the whole system and reconnect everything. But sometimes that doesn't even help so it's kind of frustrating. Go Bluetooth Instead
This accessory is for Sony's proprietary plug. I have Sony Sound Bars that come with Amps. This unit only works with the old style Apple pin connector NOT the Lightning. It works fine but I wanted Bluetooth with the sound bars. Buy the Esinkin Bluetooth Audio Adapter. It comes with red/white RCA plugs that fit the ear plug jack. For $1.50+ buy the RCA with red/white on both ends. The Amp for the sound bars have the RCA ports that may be used instead of the proprietary plug.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Unexpected compatibility
I bought this for an Iphone 4s but became concerned that the manual and various forums questioned it's use with an Iphone. I need not have worried. It works perfectly.
