How tough should a ACTION FIGURE be? It should be tough enough that when it falls off a book shelf, it doesn't break!
I am a comic book collector, i also purchase ACTION FIGURE's from both DC COMICS and MARVEL COMICS. I purchased the BATMAN BEYOND A.F. when it first came out, and placed it on a bookshelf standing on the stand that it came with, some time back we had a loud noise outside my building, and the figure fell off the shelf and hit the floor, the toy lost an arm and was damaged beyond repair.
