Hany Glue when making Labels for G-Scale Trains...
This is a really good Glue to use when making LABELS for trains... I use a Laser Printer to make my custom labels that can be colored control via "Paint" software,,, that often appears very sharp in appearance,,, while,,, matching train plastic paint overall finish after one takes a few tries to do this... I print these labels on heavy paper (85-95 g) to give my labels stiffness... Before cut-out, I then add a layer of cheap heavy clear shipping tape to gain a degree of water protection over my label's... This gives a semi-gloss appearance... "Not bad looking!"
When using this glue via a cap attached brush,,, one has time to allow a custom fit do to this glue's tacky slow but quick drying nature... "I really like this!" This Scenic Accents Glue makes labeling much easier...
If a mistake is make, using a wet cotton swab dipped in distilled water, "one" with a bit of rubbing can remove said label with some ease... This glue basically has a UN-do ability,,, for change of mind,,, or just basic human errors... "Yep!" I have done this corrective trick several times...
Now my method is a bit easier than direct painting which is still best in appearance but does require hard to make stencils, but again is not so easy to do... Computer printing and attachment with this glue is a good way to label...
"Good Luck!"
