Nice Knife with a large but
I looked forward with anticipation to the arrival of this knife as I collect knives of old UK makers or with interesting lock mechanisms. It duly arrived and is well finished and lightweight, the lock works nicely, a real pocket worker like the Opinel and Joker rotary lock knives. At the moment opening and closing has quite an amount of friction, but I could feel the blade 'jump' every time I did this. Further investigation reveals the blade must have a hole in it about one and a half times the diameter of the bar it pivots on! This Rivet is brass not steel as on the Opinels, therefore it will wear to an even worse degree of play. This in a knife costing over double a n.o 8 Opinel. The blade locks firmly when the locking collar is pushed over as it locks by a cam action, but surely it's not too much to ask that the pivot bar diameter matches that of the hole in the blade tang? Basic fit and finish and it fell at the first fence, it will languish in my collection, but unfortunately won't see much carry.
