Motorola Photon q (XT897)
My long search for a perfect phone for my needs brought me to a 3 year old phone (at that time). I think this phone is the best example, how Motorola proved it's name in delivering best phones for geeks and everyone else. Best it's HW description is - it supports Android 6! Oh my God! Even not all "flagman" from other vendors released 1 year ago, support it... or any other updates to Android 5... oh well. But what is the second selling point of this phone? It has a PHYSICAL QWERTY keyboard! Woohoo! I like to feel when I pressed a button. More or less,in the current market we do not have any other competitor to this phone! Good job Motorola! This Motorola phone has a real keyboard - It's the best!
This phone is reasonably durable, has a decent amount of battery life, is not so big that it can't fit into your pocket, but the most important feature is the real keyboard. You can feel the keys as you type out your messages. The keyboard also lights up for night use. I don't know why someone would rather tap a flat screen than use a real 3D keyboard. Give it a try. Great phone, LOVE the keyboard!
This phone is very user friendly, small enough to fit in a pocket or standard case, has a pretty fast processor, and lots of great features, namely the physical keyboard, which I LOVE! Last Great Keyboard Phone
This is more or less equivalent to the Droid 4, of which I've used several. But it has an unlockable bootloader too, and there is an android 6.0 rom available! An excellent choice for anyone wanting a keyboard phone to use on wifi (including tethering) for more comfortable chatting. The limitations of the old device can be harsh if you try to run modern intensive apps (especially the 1gb of ram), but it doesn't have a problem running android 6.0 and lightweight text-based apps, and is the best portable chatting device around.Bestätigter Kauf: Ja

Great slide out keyboard, works well and does what it's supposed to.

Physical keyboards rock
Among the few phones still available and supported with a physical keyboard, which I MUCH prefer to newer touchscreen-only models. Still good performance for a phone model several years old. Hopefully some manufacturer(s) will pick up on the wide desire/demand for physical keyboards in future models once network changes force an upgrade. great features for what it is

Great phone!!!!
I got this phone for my daughter. Love the fact it has an 8 mp camera instead of the other 2mp cameras that scratch wireless phones have. Phone does have the slide out keyboard for (which my daughter doesn't use) users who prefer a keyboard instead of the screen.. great keyboard phone!
