Don't waste your Money
The base is bulky and leaks. I have only used this unit for 1 week and it is already leaking. I learned from the first unit I bought to have something under it, so it did not ruin my counter again. This is not worth the price. Stick to the fridge pitcher filtration or bottled water and recycle the bottles.

leaves weird smell
After filtering water, it leaves a weird smell to the water after sitting out for a few days. If its truly filtering the water, there should be no smell. My normal tap water doesn’t leave a weird smell. Even sealing a jar with the filtered water in the fridge leaves the same weird smell, just not as quickly.
