As I live on top of a hill quite close t...
As I live on top of a hill quite close to Leeds Bradford airport. Its a strong signal anyway. Not much difference to the standard whip aerial. Seems a little better on weaker signals but still yet to explore it's full range. Reasonably happy.

Desk top mini discone antenna
Im very pleased with my descktop scanner antenna, i us it along with flight radar 24 and I live in Colchester and i can listen to and track planes way down pasy heathrow and Gatwick with no trouble at all and the transmisions are as clear as a bell. I cant wait to go mobile with it. I would recomend this anntenna to anyone wanting a duel purpose antenna for there scanner.

8mm bars would not fit had to file to fit grub screws missing
a lot of money for such poor quality save some money go to maplins and get there desktop antennae there is no difference in signal strength and a lot cheaper

got out a good 6 miles but then it does depend on were you live ie are you in an open space do you live in a built up aeria my friend who use,s the auntenna has a bit of space arround him.

Awesome for smaller apartments or condos. Works as excellent TV antenna also.

Rubbish
Works just as well as a normal bog standard aerial you get with any radio. Absolute waste of money.
