Product Information

Spartacus: Vengeance is a DVD three-disc set of the complete Season 2 of the action-adventure television series Spartacus. This action-adventure series details Spartacus and his fellow gladiators after they escape the slavery of the gladiatorial training school. The gladiators are able to flee after killing their master Batiatus in Season 1 of the series, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Spartacus: Vengeance picks up as these men leave the training center and start their mission of revenge against the brutal Roman Empire. This gripping action-adventure series was created by Steven S. DeKnight and was filmed in New Zealand. After the death of the actor Andy Whitfield, who portrayed Spartacus in Season 1, Liam McInytre took over that role in Spartacus: Vengeance. The series also features Lucy Lawless as Lucretia, Viva Manu Bennett as Crixus, and Peter Mensah as Oenomaus. This three-disc set offers all 10 episodes of Season 2. Bonus features on this DVD include Burning Down the House: The VFX of Episode 205, bloopers, famous last words, and the Spartacus: War of the Damned teaser.

Need your game if Thrones fix? This will scratch the itch.
Hey I was going through Game of Thrones withdrawal s and needed to satisfy the craving, so i thought id give Spartacus a wurl. Okay im gonna let you know right now it has alot more nudity than GOT. The second season was still very giod even though the main actot from season 1 unfortunatly came to his untimely end. Realky to bad he was perfect. Unfortunately i jyst cant see the new actor as Spartacus. Im not sute why it just doesnt eork for me. Now im being pretty harsh because the original guy set the bar so high. Season 2 is definitly worth it though. Do yourself a favor and get this series you will mot be disappointed.

Excellent
Great purchase, is as advertised, used but shows like new. Characters are engaging and it is Rome in the time of its glory. It's definitely not your father's Spartacus from back in time. I highly recommend. But.it's not for children for sure. ADULTS ONLY I would SUGGEST.

Best series ever!
Entertaining is an understatement. The story line keeps you engaged from the first episode of the season to the last. First saw it on Starz years ago and I wanted the set so now I am watching it years later and still amazed.
