Reasonably priced solid performer
A good deal on a solid product. Good sound. Quick loading. Only time will tell if it holds up. Wish it had a "calendar" type track display, but I think those are rare these days. For that matter, so are CD players.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great value and excellent for most uses.
This is exactly the kind of CD player I wanted, it's well built and delivers reliably good sound and operation, but it's not loaded down with audiophile features for which I have no use. Vary easy repair
Power cord was unplugged in side cd case, had to undo 4 screws. I bought a brand new Teac cd 650 in the box for $38.00 and shipping. Yay ThanksBestätigter Kauf: Ja

Pluses and Minus of the Teac CD/ USB player
The unit is made well. It's on the heavy side meaning it has good dampening from external vibration ( from speaker sound waves). The transport system is quiet with minimal noise from the moving part which suggest good build quality also. On the USB side, The only draw back is it only records up to 192Kbs on a USB device which is middle or the road quality for an MP3 recording but if you don't feel like fooling with a PC, then it is the simpler option. Titling of the album and tracks comes in if the usb device has all that info on it if the CD player is used for for " playback " of the data from the USB device. Recording data ( album, artist, name of the song ) made off the CD to the USB Device "does not" come off the CD which can be another draw back, which will point you right back to a PC to label everything, manually. Works properly but the jury is out. Time will tell.
Easy to use direct on the component or via the remote. This is a replacement component for one I had purchased about 2 years ago. The disc transport failed (it would not open, close or engage the disc properly or not at all. I could not find parts to repair it. Great features if you can get them to work
Some menu functions do not work - control MP3 player directly from MP3 player - sound quality is very good though - selecting music files from MP3 player one has to be quick - scroll to file and hit enter within 1 second then track and quickly enter again. High Quality, Reasonable Priced Single CD Player
Today, most CD players fall into one of two categories: boom box quality garbage or high-end audiophile gear. It is hard to find a good quality single CD player like the kind that was all over the place a couple of decades ago. This CD player fills the gap.
