For a CD player that is 'vintage reference', it still sounds amazing, in all aspects, and can be compared many higher end CD Players of TODAYS vintage. The sound is warm, details, tight and provides that extra that you want in a reference CD player. The stable platter adds even more to such a wonderful vintage machine.
