Typically good Murakami.
Murakami readers will not be disappointed - nor will those new to his writing. The expected mixture of good story mixed with a parallel universe. My only problem, being English, is with the translation. For instance: 'gotten' instead of 'got' and 'someplace' instead of 'somewhere'. Does the author like his works to be translated into American English? There are some sentences, due to the grammar, that need re-reading to understand. I was also surprised to see the obvious misspelling of words in a book with such a large circulation.
