Happy with the Product
So good to rewatch James Bond from the 60s when it all started. (Yes I'm a boomer.) After watching the second of the series, "From Russia With Love," found out Sean Connery died, so the viewing experience was even more special. Each disc is in an individual plastic/film sleeve so the discs don't touch each other. The quality of the viewing and sound was good--no complaints. 🎶💕 🌺 I was so stoked to obtain this set with the winning bid! I'll never get caught up if I don't take the time to sit and watch! What I've seen so far is super excellent and the quality of DVD now and bluray, wow! Love going down memory lane. In high school when 1st BOND movie released. OH MY GOSH. or GUSH it's Sean Connery #1 OO7.
Ok review is not about the MOVIES dated movies many but the complete BOND collection how neat is that. BUT like others have mantioned this set is poorly made. So far we've had one Movie Gold Finger fail and not play. As we work our way through these movies I'll make a note of those missing and replace those disks by buyng a single of the failed DVD. But putting that aside and these are hard to get out and replace in the card slits that are opening to hold them in order. Little decent protection for the disks and may even cause damage to them. Not sure what one can do for that except to place all the disks in single cases and make labels for all yourself and discard this fancy box alltogether. To date I was surprised I just didn't get into watching these movies again. Many of the later bond movies I haven't seen and had no idea there were fifty over the years. I was a teen in high shcool when the first ones came out and recall them and Our Man Flint series debates about which was best etc. But BOND won out for longevity anyway. Decided to gift these to us when THE BEST BOND PERIOD "Connery" passed this past year. I would buy again but found it at discount and would not pay mroe than what I did here on Ebay. Absolutely AWESOME!!
Getting this set made my life complete! Great boxed set. I seriously love it and realized as I am watching them in consecutive order, that I had not seen all of them before! How great is that!! This collection is amazing. We are watching the movies in order and are very happy with the picture quality on Dr No and From Russia with Love. We are excited to have all of the great Bond films in one boxed set. It is a great value for the money and we were quite surprised by the quality. Some discs skip
I have watched about 6 of the movies and 3 of them had some playback issues-slight skips. Good video quality but the sound is about a 3 out 5, but is likely due to the movies original sound recording. The movie case holder and CD holders arrived with a lot of mold. James Bond DVD"s
I have not watched all of them yet. Out of the 22 disc, I have watched 10 of them and they are very good except for the 2 disc that won't play good on my Sony blu ray player but will play on regular DVD player.
