Sucking in viewers with the dramas, scandals, and intrigues of the Texan elite, DALLAS quickly became a national sensation after debuting in 1978. The most popular nighttime soap since the 1960s series PEYTON PLACE, the series would run for a total of 13 seasons and become one of the biggest hits of the 1980s. Driven principally by the dramatic affairs of the rich Ewing family, DALLAS derived much of its drama from its characters' pursuit of money, sex, and power. Starring Larry Hagman as the nefarious J.R. Ewing, the series also boasted a talented supporting cast, including Barbara Bel Geddes, Patrick Duffy, Victoria Principal, Linda Gray, and many more. This collection presents all episodes from series 1-14.

5 stars for entertainment value
Five stars for sheer entertainment value! It is obviously dated and some of the earlier series are not as visually precise as the later ones, but I didnt find this detracted from the enjoyment of this very well produced and acted tv phenomenon. STILL entertaining all these years after. Great characters and action.

I Love Dallas
I love Dallas and being that it is no longer shown on TV i thought I'd buy the complete dvd collection. I went Dallas some time ago when i was in the states and I visited Southfork and i loved it The box set is well worth the money

Good value in small package
Great buy, a piece of the eighties to carry with you. Serie from the time when drama series were taken outside the studios in authentic places.

Happy with the set! But as it’s a present! Not so happy as pressing the side of the box would have been a great surprise
If you press the side of the box it’s supposed to play the theme tune! It’s does not! Which means this product is faulty!

Excellent value for money for the number of disc
A fantastic series, watched the programme when first aired on BBC I,m on only the second disc at time of writing but I am enjoying this dvd collection which was excellent value for money. Wendy

It may be old, but...
It may be an old series, but has kept my wife and daughter entertained for hour after hour. It is so much a part of their lives that we bought a new full set of the 14 year series. We have been to Southfork and this made it all come alive for them, and they can relate to the various cars, scenes etc.

The best soap ever so far on tv(although not surprised with the standard of the rest)
Good value considering there are 14 series with around 25 episodes per series.
