Finesse in the high frequencies
I own some pretty great but pricey microphones. These days it's pretty amazing what you can get for not a lot of money. I enjoy the sound of mid-priced fet's and have tried many of the offerings from the manufacturers we know and love. My opinion is most brands have a house sound. It is most evident to me in the way they handle the very high frequencies. Again my opinion but the way this 201 handles the Krispies and Air in a voice is much more natural sounding than the other mic's I have owned in this market segment.
