A Little Known Gounod Opera - but a great listen
A little known Gounod opera, but it is full of the Gounod trademark. I was not expecting much, and collecting to fill my Gounod collection, I had already heard it online, but it sounds a lot better played on a CD system. The voices are not well known, but they play their parts excellently. I have been playing this over and over to familiar myself with the music, and it is certainly goong to be played a lot more.
