Taller piston than OEM
I have the older poly-flywheel version 066 and this piston hit the top of my cylinder jug. Seems to weigh a tad more than the OEM size as well. I'm sure the newer 066 and 660's can accomadate this size; but the older version seems to not. If you're going to buy this piston and you own the older 066 - definitely make sure you have your base gasket - maybe 2... Attached picture shows size of new piston compared to 066 poly flywheel OEM original piston. Even connected by the crank fastener rod at the same height, you can see the height difference.

Great Piston
Chainsaw fired right up. Replaced the stock G660 after the piston seized up on the exhaust side to the rings. Honed out the cylinder and installed the Meteor. Best pistons available.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Have already installed the piston kit into a Stihl 084 chain saw, fit perfectly. Have not started the saw as of yet, waiting on other parts.
