FINALLY SOMETHING THAT WORKS!!
My poor little Yorkie mix has had skin issues, ever since he was over-vaccinated by a stupid, FORMER vet and ended up with black yeast spots. After wasting so much $$$ on various salves, sprays and shampoos, even natural remedies (neem, coconut oil, vinegar & peroxide) I was at wit's end--before coming across this. I started off, bathing him twice a wk, now only once. He can now sleep at nite (me too!), no more itching, chewing, pulling out his hair or hiding under my bed. Wonderful product!
Initially, I used this as ordered by my vet.; since then, I have used it for two different dogs and always with good results. Good product
This is the only thing I can use for my dogs yeast infection that gives her any relief at all, I'm so glad I'm able to help her with this. Need follow up to determine effectiveness of product
To early to make a judgement on the effectiveness of this product because I only used it one time for washing my diog. I have to wait at least a month or two inordervtobsee results. Immediate Results!
I've been using Malaseb shampoo for the last year and it has made such a difference in my dogs well-being. My dog had developed a chronic yeast problem and giving him a weekly bath had helped ward off the problem. It really helps with bacterial / fungal skin issues.
I use this on my male Chihuahua every 5 days. It helps with his skin issues. It does not bubble up, don't expect it to. It's not made like regular shampoo. It is made to use on a regular basis for chronic conditions. I do like to add an anti fungal conditioner after it. You do need leave it on your pet! 10 minutes might seem like a long time and if it's cool, wrap them up in a towel and sit with them. It keeps them warmer and happy. Happy Dog
We use this for our Yorkie's skin problems. Many people we know do the same. But, read the instructions! Need to have patience. We left on for 10 minutes as stated on "instructions"! Every other day, as time progresses and skin gets clear you can cut back to 4,3 whatever every other days. Each, dog "you" have to decide when! It works for us and others we know.
