The Sony STR AV210 is a stereo receiver designed for use in the home. The receiver supplies up to 55 watts of power output per channel for two channels. This power output is reached by the Sony receiver when is operates at 4 Ohms. This power output is variable and can range from 43 watts up to 55 watts depending on Ohms used. Multiple input and output options are integrated into the features for the home stereo receiver. Among these options is a CD player port, a video port, and a tape port. Output options for the Sony STR AV210 are record-out, video-out, front speaker-out, and rear speaker-out. Record-out allows user to record from an input device to an output device. The front and rear speakers built into the Sony receiver allow users multiple speaker set-up options. Users can switch between using the front speakers only, rear speakers only, and using all speakers together. Tone controls are included with the home stereo receiver. Questionable
In its day, this STR-AV210 was a nice piece of equipment. However, three decades later the STR-AV210 I purchased used is aging out. The audio clarity is OK but I sense could be better. (Needs recapping?) The digital station memory is inoperable. (Maybe an internal battery?)
