Probably the first thing you learn about is his integrity and the way he conducted his life. I have been impressed with the men who have won this award and hope that I live up to the name Heisman as they do. This should be a movie!
Everyone knows the Heisman Trophy is the most coveted award in college football, but very few people know anything about the man himself. There are so many facets to his personality that he can't adequately be described in a few paragraphs. The man and the times he lived in spring to life in this book. Graduating from college with a law degree, John Heisman followed his passion for football (then in its infancy) instead, going on to become one the greatest innovators ever to shape what football has become today.
