Euro centric clothing
it's not really a complete history of fashion, though it is very good for European styles. It has both male and female garb but lacks Most Asian clothing. There is mention of a modern Japanese designer but not really ancient Japanese wear. India and China are only mentioned in the appendix. A lavish Look at Fashion Through Time
Complete and comprehensive in a beautifully illustrated and lavish presentation. More than just fashion illustration but rather an examination of how history and culture was influential in the evolution of style. A thorough look at western design.
