Historic, not obsolete
I bought this one as a backup to the one I already have. Reason? - with this phone, it is not a problem to record all calls automatically, whether on speaker, phone to the ear, or via bluetooth. Contrary to many modern phones, the battery is removable and it supports a microSD card for additional memory. Additional plus: it has a 41 megapixel camera with a technology that concentrates more visual information into each pixel recorded (Pureview). Plus, there is photography software available for the phone - still - that allows me to maximize the use of the camera hardware in the phone. Another killer app on this phone is SymDVR. Combined with Situations, my phone detects the bluetooth signal in my car and automatically starts the digital video recorder that records my drive during daylight hours, and ends it when I stop, at HD resolution. As long as it is charging, the battery store remains stable where it is. As a phone, it performs excellently. Voice comes through loud and clear, and it is considered a world phone, it has such a wide assortment of frequencies with which it is compatible. When it records audio, it features Dolby enhancement and when I use it as my music source, it is as high fidelity as the speakers or headphones through which I hear it. If you want a phone for video calls or posting on Facebook and such, this isn't your phone. Professional tool if you need a good phone and quality camera
A product with exellent phone and camera. I use this phone/camera because of my profession as a sales agent. In Landscape where I'm often driving, there is quite weak radiosignal. I've used models of other Brands and I must say that this model works much better than these. Internet works, but it's quite slow. Very good are also; Office Mobile, Navigation, Recording and Notes.
