They are Craftsman tools made in China now, I hope they hold up as good as they used to when they were made in the "Good 'ol U.S. of A.", I wish they were still made here in the United States, but what can you do about it. These are going to be a Christmas gift so I haven't used them myself and only time will tell how good they will hold up, but I have had many of my American made Craftsman (and other American made) tools for going on 40 years now and some of the Craftsman (and other American made) tools my dad, may he R.I.P. (who was a mechanic) gave me are almost 70 years old now (and older, some his dad and uncles, may they R.I.P, gave him) and all are still going strong. I have only had to replace a very few broken tools over the years and It's fine and good to have a life time warranty/guaranty, but when the brown stuff hits the fan and your out in the "boonies" it's better that your tools are made well enough that they don't break apart on you.
