The Good, The Bad, and the UGLY
Price looked good. The speakers initially looked good. I bought these speakers primarily for the Sub Woofer. Bad news is: the sub woofer produces no sound. Additionally, as I picked it up one could hear something loose in the case rattling around, like a loose nut or bolt. The volume control was loose and difficult to adjust. Opened the rear cover and discovered the reason for the loose volume control. It isn't good. But wait it gets worse. The power transformer board is toast. How do I know that? I had to download the sub woofer manual from the Internet and use it as a guide to troubleshoot the circuit boards. I used my Fluke meter and Rigol O-scope to validate my diagnosis so to speak.
