Get the right tools!
If you're going to going to install a modular Ford timing chain tensioner, do yourself a favor and get this tool. Works like a charm; undoubtedly saves lots of time, frustration and cuss words. When you compress the tensioner in a vice, it goes on easy. Once the timing chain's on the engine it comes off easy.
