Simple to use and very effective
Bought this item as a gift for a friend to enable her to connect her fairly elderly Suunto Vytec dive computer to a (Windows) lap top/PC to access Suunto's Dive Management (DM) dive planning facilities as well as recording her dives. The cable is very simple to use and worked well with the Suunto DM3 software installed on my PC. Her Vytec computer was instantly recognised by my PC and allowed her full access to all the DM features without any problem. I've not tried it with Suunto's DM5 software yet but expect it will work very well. All in all a simple to use and cost effective interface cable.

Cable works great
Worked instantaneously with my Suunto Vyper Air, just pluged it into my pc. very easy to connect it to the dive computer. Worked fine with Suunto DM5.

lead works fine
If you have a Suunto computer this works perfectly. Note once you attached to your PC, make sure the dive computer in PC mode and leave a minute for it to get recognised by your dive log software then that's it.

Does what it says on the tin.
This product works great under Suunto DM5 software and is about $30 less than the official cable. The connector is great. Would recommend.

Works, but a bit touchy.
It downloaded my Vyper, Vytec, and my Vyper Air, but you have to hold it in place to get the pairing complete. It did work though.

Just What I Needed
Cable was exactly what i was looking for, as it had the USB connector.

It works
Does what it says. I was able to transfer the data from my Vyper and am happy. The connection was a little tempermetal, but this could be down to the Vyper rather than the connection on the cable.

Useless for MacBook Air
Not suitable for MacBook Air as described. Communication with supplier has been at times contradictory and generally not over helpful. Most recent communication has not been replied to.
