Better than an advent calendar!
This is a lovely traditional story with little envelopes for the child to open & see what's inside. Little delights of things, a mini jigsaw, a tiny comic plus the best one at the end a 3d peep show of a Christmas scene. Amazing memorable children's book

Classic children’s book, one to keep

Wonderful

A Christmas Must Read
Still one of the most engaging Christmas books. My daughter had it as a child and wanted it for her own family. It is a book that works on multiple layers for the young reader from the earliest age....plenty to look at visually with the rhyming rhythms that help extend vocabulary or budding readers. A superb book with many surprises
