A beautiful nostalgic trip back to the 70s
Mellow 70s pop - Bittersweet and surprisingly good. It's been a while since Roberta Flack has been more than a name from the past. She wasn't one of the great vocalists but does what the best do - she communicates the emotions and feelings of a song very well. Most of these songs are either well known or at least seem familiar from somewhere so you can listen to the whole album and not fell like you have to skip anything. My only issue would be the duets - I want to hear Roberta Flack - but they are still good and fit well. Ending with Janis Ian's Jessie does end the whole album on a bleak note but the whoile feel of the album is one of nostalgia for missed opurtunties or lost loves so it does fit the overall feel. I basically bought it for the first track but found myself enjoying the whole album - I know these are the "hits" but as an album it does stand up well overall against most others you might buy.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great music from the past>
This was a great find, and at a perfect time. I had this title on an 8 track years ago. Winter storms and power outages along with Wi-Fi issues and cell phone problems, it is a joy to play one of many CD`s to get thru the day.
