The greatness of the 40,s and 50,s movies as compared to today.
The miracle of the bells type movies of that time where very respectful to their audiences. The story lines were very definable and easy to stay engaged in without the low grade actions of coarse language and nudity ( a replacement for content and acting ) Unfortunately, our children are exposed to a form of observational instruction that is creating a society of low grade non productive people. Sad

this has been one of my favorite movies,...
this has been one of my favorite movies, particularly because it is old enough that it was made when Frank Sinatra was a very young man, and before the movie industry was ruined by immorality. It is beautifully produced and the acting is splendid. I am very glad I found this new copy.

I LOVE these kind of movies with stars like Fred MacMurray, Doris Day, Frank Sinatra. This is a real endearing entertainment.
