Best stand ever..........
Made in the Yamaha motorcycle plant, the metal work and chrome can't get much better. Fit and finish is outstanding. All the parts feel (and ping) like steel, not pot-metal like other stands. The critical pivots just hold up to years of use or abuse while others just strip screws,snap in half, fall apart. All sliding parts are nylon-to-steel so the chrome stays safe. Screws are tight and feel like machine threads. They never fall out. Very heavy duty (and heavy) so you can boom out to crazy distances and angles but stay stable. DO watch your fingers when closing these down, the double braced legs will give a powerful pinch if the legs snap closed suddenly (don't ask how I know). These are the longest lasting stands I've owned. The real benefit of Yamaha stands is if you mix the 800 and 900 series, their legs "nest" inside each other and the stands can fit very closely together. One stand's legs can go inside the adjacent stand's legs. I wipe them down with WD-40 after every setup/teardown and the 20 year old stands still look as good on the Recording Custom kit as the Maple Absolute kit. Probably the best stand you can buy at this pricepoint.
I've also used Mapex and Ludwig hardware. This is by far the sturdiest and nicest stand I've ever owned. It's not light, but is well worth the weight for how burly it is. I'm slowly switching out all of my hardware for Yamaha, it's worth it.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great Stand!!
