Nothing like photo
I paid a premium to return this product as in my opinion it didn’t match the photos. I did get other opinions to make sure I was not being fussy. I am not sure why all the other reviews have been so positive. The quality (or lack of) of the plastic is very different to the old school phones of which the photo gave homage to. I was disappointed. So disappointed I did not bother to unwrap the item. Took photos only to show items weren’t damaged on return.

Childrens Toy Telephone!
It looks, feels and sounds cheap In the photo it looks great but when you look at it when it arrives the plastic feels wrong it isn't hard like the original it's sort of soft. Also the ringer it is only a single bell it isn't loud like the original double bell l but if you aren't old enough to remember the original you won't know any different! It was so poor I sent it back!

well worth the money
l l wear in the ear hearing aids all the time. the new phones we had l could never hear ? but this little beauty.. clear as a bell great

Almost there
Very happy with my phone, it's quite heavy and looks the part. Crystal clear voice quality, nice ring. Only 2 gripes: when using the rotary dial, a loud beep can be heard instead of the grinding noise down the receiver. My solution, don't have it to your ear whilst dialling. The other gripe is my mom saw mine, loved it, and ordered her own. When hers arrived it was a completely different colour. Mine is bright red, hers a dark, almost burgundy. So an inconsistent colour, a pain if you're ordering for a gift, a plus if you want an original!

Not quite right
The dial sometimes misses a number and you end up trying a few times to dial out. The ringer sounds good. Sound quality is a little rough but it looks good sitting on the shelf. I brought it for a back up phone for when the electric goes off.

Present for a dear friend
I did not see this item for some while as it was a present for a dear friend of mine. She said it was just right and something she always wanted. Connected straight away and was exactly what she expected to use......constantly.
