Oh So Close!
Nice build quality as you would expect even from entry level Davosa watches. Love the blue metallic aluminium bezel insert, but the blue of the face isn’t quite as good, although not by a significant margin. Three downsides would be 1) The faux patina of the hands and markers is a bit two dimensional, and lacks any variation resulting in it looking more of a slightly weird paint colour rather than patina. 2) The balance of the face would benefit hugely from a model name below the handset. When both hands are occupying the upper half of the face, the lower half is so blank, it looks as if something is missing...which (in my opinion), it is! 3) The GMT function isn’t a true GMT function (hardly surprising at this price point), but more irritatingly, it is frustratingly difficult to set accurately as it seems to suffer from a “pick up” delay. Let’s say you want to set it two hours ahead from a local time of 8pm. Using the bezel markers, you align the GMT hand to 10pm (22 hrs on the bezel). Check it 2 hours later, and it won’t be pointing at 24hrs as it should. It seems to always end up 15 minutes or so behind where it should be. Result? You have to second guess it a bit, and advance it slightly beyond what it should be, and hope that the pick up delay brings it back to the correct two hour advance. Not the best. Other than that, it’s a pretty thing to look at, and if the GMT function doesn’t bother you, then it’s quartz accuracy will serve you well enough as a dress down watch.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great value and classy looking watch
Watch is superb for the money paid, quality Rhonda Swiss Quartz movement, nicely presented, clear markings and Swiss made. Davosa have done themselves proud with this vintage style GMT dive watch.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
