Good machete, bad saw.
I'm sure it works fine as a machete or for chopping branches or small trees, but what the deciding factor was for me was the saw portion, and it was a big disappointment. The SP-8 has a nice heft, seems well balanced with a comfortable grip. I also like the blade thickness. The Made in China sheath, not so much.
