Reviving an old PC for background tasks
This solved the problem of a dead IDE port on my old motherboard. With this product I will be able to continue to use the old PC for making backup clones of my boot drives for other computers. Good complement to a modern MB with all SATA connections.
Worked perfectly on first install. Really good internal adapter for using the old IDE disk library on a modern mother board with only SATA connections and a PCI slot (Not e-sata).
