Very Nice
First off it looks very classy with the Silver and Black body with modern style lines. It is a bit of a challenge to line the can up the first time you use it but becomes easier as you get more familiar with the opener. It cuts very well through all types of cans and has plenty of power to churn through the stubborn ones. It is about average on the noise level and people will hear you in the kitchen if you are opening up a can for company. The magnet is strong and holds on to the cut out lid. Can Opener Supposed to Open cans?
Oster brand, gave no thought to my purchase. This can opener won't even hold a small can, the puncture blade simply won't puncture the can..other folks stating how great it works must not have received one like the opener I was shipped. it's been a long time since i EASILY opened cans
i couldn't believe it that this can opener opened 2 cans for me in less than 40 seconds. it's been such a long long time since i had no problem opening a can. for decades all i used to use was manual can openers and had never owned an electric can opener until around 7 years ago when i realized the quality and lifespan of manual can openers is extremely shody these days! i've had several of them brake on me in last 15 yrs. or so while i was using them. and what makes it so bad is that many companies cans are not even all the way around which makes them difficult to open cans. i cook once a week for the following week which consists of all my meats as well as can goods. so when i cook which is time consuming i don't need the extra hastle of fumbling with substandard can openers so i truly appreciate the ease of using this one and i highly reccomend this can opener to all! and i figured out how to use it in less than 10 seconds.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Check around & compare other products before a quick buy
Thought being a normal good brand, my expectations were dashed after using this item. The cutting mechanism comes off to easy, & no engagement device to hold it in place, so it actually falls off even while operating the can opener. Cheap!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Finicky can opener

Great for the price!

Not even worth the very low price
This Oster can opener has a hard time opening cans !!! The Tuna can had to be held twice as it went around slowly, and the it never finished. It also ate the can's label, which was not easy to pry out of the cutting gear. We tried another can thinking the can may have been defective, but exactly the same thing happened. Lightweight and easy to use!

Great company - disappointing product.
I was happy that it arrived, and matched the other appliances color. It worked okay for small cans, but dragged on normal cans, and wouldn't budge the bigger cans. Smudge free,clutter free,and tall for most cans
