Moraff's Maximum Mahjongg is a collection of four titles that began as Internet freeware games called MoraffWare. 2D Net Editions of each game were released on the Moraff Games website (www.moraff.com), but without the many extras included in this Global Star Software published package. The four packaged games are variations on the Mahjongg theme and include Moraff's 3D-Jongg, Moraff's MoreJongg, Moraff's SphereJongg and Moraff's RingJongg. The CD published version has many extras (additional classical musical, tilesets and so forth) not found on the original freeware versions at the Moraff Games website. Moraff's 3D-Jongg includes tiles rendered in a shadowed wood and marble motif. Unlike other variations, the requirement is to match and remove three tiles at a time rather than the traditional two. The game includes more than 200 tile sets, digital sound effects, and over 120 music selections for background ambiance along with 50 backgrounds. Moraff's MoreJongg is a traditional two-at-a-time tile matching game with an Icelandic waterfall background. The other two variations break from the tradition of Mahjongg and feature spheres and rings in place of tiles. In Moraff's SphereJongg, spheres and marbles come in a multitude of shapes, sizes and textures ranging from stone to wood. Three skill levels (easy, medium, hard) are available along with the same properties of music, sound and backgrounds as Moraff's 3D-Jongg. In Moraff's RingJongg, the challenge increases as these layouts have the least number of winnable games compared to the other titles. Once again, multiple sounds, layouts, backgrounds and music selections are featured. All games have some mix of additional options that include multiple layouts, undo last move, shuffle tiles, hints, an "always possible" feature, tile movement, photographs, cultural art, full screen or windowed display and shadow or border implementation. Additionally high scores, multiple stacking formats, and a clock timer are included as part of each game.
