Replacement Purchase
We were original owners of the exact same camera in the mid '80's and have a full complement of family films which were forever locked away after our camera quit working. This replacement is priceless to us in reliving the memories captured on film so long ago. The camera is quite heavy and rather large to carry around while on vacation, but the picture and sound quality is excellent. Thirty years later the video 8 cassettes play like they were filmed yesterday. Vintage greatness.
The reason why I bought the CCD-V8AF is because it's a very rare collector's item. It was worth every penny. The condition is very good. The lighting is kinda off. Probably beause my room is not so lit up... But still, it's a great camcorder. I'm becoming a camcorder collector...
