There is no haze on inside of the lens. This lens doesn't have any defect which affects images. Including Front Lens Cap. Rear Lens Cap. (But of course it does not affect the photos.). There is no problem or impact when taking photos.

As good a lens as I remember - and just as heavy
Bought as replacement for my previous version of the same lens, which took a couple of fearful dings while descending a Cumbrian mountain under its own team. I've had to use an old Sigma 2470 while saving up for this and I'd forgotten just how good it is, and I'm really thrilled to have it back in my bag - apart from the weight!
