Just like mild coffee
I am 50 with low iron levels & have had black circles on top and bottom of my eyes for 20 years, started drinking chicory & taking iron tablets and stopped drinking tea with ever meal & for the first time in 20 years I don't have black circles, they are 80% better, So I quit tea completely & will keep drinking chicory. Great coffee alternative!
First time I tried pure chicory drink, without any additional ingredients and honestly, it is quite enjoyable. You don't need much (about a 2 tsp) in the cup when you make your coffee-like beverage, otherwise you might make it more bitter than you would like. The first time I tried it I made it too strong and also found the flavour quite peculiar, but it definitely grew on me!
