Interesting history, no real plot.
Interesting book on the history of a family in the interior of British Columbia. No real plot to the book, but just a journal of the things that happened to this couple throughout the years. It is more a collection of stories about incidents in their lives.

The story is pure gold. Buy it!
Witty, whimsical first-hand account of homesteading the remote wilderness of British Columbia in the early 1900s. Written by a woman in a man’s world, she copes lovingly and laughingly, and captures the reader with her factual and exciting memories. Truly entertaining and one of my favorite reads!
