Put the pedal to the metal as you race toward the finish line, avoid obstacles, and defeat other players in an exciting Mario universe racing game. Mario Kart: Double Dash is the GameCube console's answer to the popular Mario Kart game series, and it offers plenty of exciting gameplay modes and challenges. Select classic characters such as Mario, Peach, Luigi, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, and Bowser and race against opposing characters in four different modes. In Grand Prix mode, you play against the computer to defeat seven other teams. Versus and Battle modes let you play against your friends in classic racing and arena games. In Time Trial, you must beat the clock to complete the course as quickly as possible. Mario Kart at its best!
Mario Kart for the gamecube is still fantastic 20 years on, the double driver experiment is simply fun and provides great competition with friends and family. Newer Mario Kart games have upped the graphics quality, but the experience remains very similar to the successful formula dished by the Good Ole' Gamecube. The multiplayer experience of course is only local (and limited to 4 players unless you do some bizarre LAN party with expensive gear), but great for an afternoon of pizza, friendly bullying, and soda. On the downside, this particular Gamecube game has skyrocketed its price unbelievably, and although great, and the best for his platform, perhaps not better than current Mario Kart offerings.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Outstanding multiplayer experience
Hands-down the best multiplayer experience you can find on GameCube, with the possible exceptions of Mario Strikers and Mario Party. Definitely an essential for anyone who has people to play with. You can play alone as well, unlocking new karts, tracks and even racers in the process, all while improving at the game. Decent price for a great game.
My girlfriend loves her GameCube and when she moved in she brought it and wanted to play DoubleDash on it. Well her copy was beat up and I put it in and the disk was done. Everywhere I looked I couldn't find a good affordable price on a new disk until I found this one. I got it yesterday and tested it out today. After some cleaning of the disk and disk reader the game worked flawlessly. Thank you, you have no idea how happy my girlfriend will be to have this game back in action to play. The case seller uses is a universal game which means it can hold DVDs and GameCube discs securely. The artwork is a from high quality scan of the original artwork. You can barely see difference between the original artwork and this reproduction. Best mario kart game of all time!
So this is the best Mario Kart game I have ever played. The reason being is it is so fun to play multiplayer on it. Two people can ride a kart at a time which is really awesome! Although it doesn't have as many levels as newer mario kart games there are some levels which aren't on newer mario kart games which makes this game spectacular! Classic Nintendo Title !

Better than I Expected
I bought Mario Kart: Double Dash, and it arrived on time and as described. There are hardly any scratches on the disk surface (I'm actually surprised with how pristine the disk's surface looks). There is a small crack on the inner edge around the center hole, but it has no effect on the game working (that area usually gets cracked from being taken in and out of the case).Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Double dash is Beast

Tons of action packed fun!
Double Dash is still the most competitive Mario Kart to date and it has a wider array of special items than any other Mario Kart. It has great single player and even better multiplayer and so many different character combos to choose from with the two-seated car mechanic. Overall a fantastic game!

Totally Addictive Game
I am totally addicted to playing this game and becoming the best at it. It is sooooo exciting! I love the way two characters are in each race car and that they can change around during the game.
