Spectacular Entry Level 144Hz
The VG248QE is rated on various review sites as the best entry-level 144hz monitor sold at the time of writing. In my quick summary i will try to list all the pros and cons of this product: PROS -Screen refresh rate is 144hz -Cheapest price for a solid 144hz monitor -Adjustable height with good swivel (Base offers around 180 degrees of easy turning) -Screen can be rotated 90 degrees for a portrait orientation -3D support -Audio passthrough support -Comes with DVI-D cables and various power cables suitable for different countries. Would have appreciated a display port cable etc. CONS -Audio passthrough in general has issues. Had to exchange previous one due to buzzing sound which caused headaches -Glossy finish as mentioned by others fingerprints easily and scratches easily -Comes out of the box poorly optimised. Recommend changing brightness etc with Tom's Hardware guide. OVERALL A solid performer excellent for gaming.
