Light weight pocket guide of rocks & minerals
I have 2 copies of this field guide. Great descriptions, photos & glossary for rock hounds and other collectors. I leave one on library shelf for lookups to extend research. Rock on!
This book has pictures of most of the minerals and gems for identification. The book also has a section on everyday rocks that are found in and around our environment....making it great for those family rock collection identification. Rocks and insects are often the first type of collections our kids make in school. Great for mineralogy/ geology folks

THE BOOK for all rock hound's
