Size of screen and functionality are great, but 42 Hz is not
Just a note to those who might be interested in using this screen to play games.. it's not good for that. It does not accept refresh rate modifications via CRU or Radeon settings, so you are stuck at a 42 Hz screen with what looks like 6+2bit color... it's a pretty crappy IPS display, all things told. You'll get lots of screen tearing with games with a bad static contrast ratio. However, the touch screen function does work plug'n'play with Windows 10. It's very compact and all you have to do is plug it in and it works. For being easy to use, this definitely gets an A rank. It's awesome that it includes cables, screws, standoffs, a support CD, and more information, in a foam box. Finally, one that really works!!!
I have tried other displays that purport to operate as a touch screen with the Windows operating system. But in fact, they don't. Something about the drivers sets them up to register with the operating system as a mouse, rather than a true touch screen. This product doesn't do that. The screen works great with my portable pi 3 project.
