Easy set up and works pretty good
I received the item on time, followed the directions and it was an easy set up! With my modem in the living room I placed the range extender in my family room on the same floor about 30 feet away. My connection in my family room is much better however, just outside the back door of the family room, I still have issues with iHeartRadio. I still have buffering. Simple, inexpensive and it works
I plugged in to an unused corner outlet, told it my router's password and ta da! I have wifi all over my yard at and the pool. I haven't given it a second thought until this review request came in. It works
Needed basic WiFi coverage extension. This is fairly simple to setup, offers basic security and has been super reliable for 3+ months. I sealed it in a plastic food storage box, drilled a hole for electric cord and sealed with silicone. It's been hanging outside my back door for 3 months and is always available. Great Value. Major Improvement
I was shocked at how quick and easy it was to set up. And I've got a strong signal in the entire two story house now. Router upstairs and extender downstairs! I couldn't be happier. Cannot find IP Address
The Belkin Router CR Guy said I needed an extender. I bought this one. Now, I spend all my time acquiring my IP address. No one said that my laptop would lose its IP address each time I go online. Really a terrible waste of time. I don't need extra tasks assigned by technology. Instead of making the Internet faster, it is in deed much much much slower and really unreliable. Does what it says
I bought this in hopes that I could extend my Wi-Fi 2 houses down to my father so he could ping off of my internet. In the description of this extender it doesn't say anywhere that it can reach that far, but I bought it anyways hoping that it would. Believe it or not, it actually does reach that far! It's not the strongest signal, but my father can use my wifi from his living room on his phone. This is what we were going for because he plays casino games on his phone and it uses all of his allotted data in just a couple of days. This helped to eliminate that problem, so I am pleased with it. I recommend it for anyone who is just looking to extend their wifi a little bit, or a couple houses away haha. Well worth the money and I couldn't tell that it was refurbished. Appeared to be brand new, no cosmetic damage or hardware malfunctions. Much cheaper from this seller than the others also. Extend your wifi without breaking the bank
I was skeptical when I first learned of these devices. I figured if my router couldn't broadcast though my old plaster and lath walls, then this wasn't going to make much of a difference. But, it only cost $20 dollars, so I figured it was worth a shot. I'm so glad I made the purchase. I brought a new house and my computer was located on the second floor while my router was on the first. I noticed my signal wasn't very good and trying to play computer games online was almost impossible. I got tired of getting kicked off or the game slowing down so much, it was almost unplayable. So I read some reviews and this sounded like my best option. Let me just say that I have TWC and my download speeds are 20Megs down and 2 megs up. Now I know that you never get the advertised download and upload speeds they post, unless you are the only one on the street with cable AND you live right next to where the signal originates. Before I moved, my download speeds on my computer were 1.9Megs download and 1Megs upload. Speeds in my new house were 300k down and 9k up. HORRIBLE. I was back to dial up speeds. So I purchased this unit and my download speeds increased to 2.1Megs down and 1.6Megs up. I was very happy. I could connect to the unit wirelessly but it also gives the option of using an Ethernet cable with the unit. I love it so much, this is my second unit. Netgear wireless wifi extender
I bought this extender to use with my new Visio Smart TV's wifi features. Before installing it, I couldn't get a signal from my existing wireless router.
