A dream tool!
The quality is amazing and the shipping faster than promissed. It's really my dream tool for the work that im doing. Fairly precise (having rougher and more pecise sides), NEVER gets clogged and works great with all kinds of hard woods. Rock maple? Wenge? Bubbunga? No problem! Seems going through like a knife through refrigirated butter. Great control.

Real McCoy, Japanese Packaging, Works like a Dream. Must Have!
Genuine Japanese Shinto saw rasp. Real McCoy Japanese Packaging, High quality. Works Excellent. Using the coarse side one can really get rid of a lot of material in a Jiffy. The less aggressive side will then smooth it to about a 240 grit finish. Very well made with good steel. Guitar, gun-stock, tool, knife or axe handle making Must Have!

Just buy it.
There's a reason woodworkers the world over consider this a necessary addition to their tools, and that's because this tool is just fantastic. It's comfortable, works fast, is easy to control, stays sharp, it's just perfect.

Great wood-shaping tool
Similar to many other updates, I have nothing but good to say about this product. It shapes hard wood and soft wood quickly and accurately with its rough and fine edges. I used it to shape the neck on a guitar I was building in less than an hour.

Should have bought one much sooner. Great for guitar necks.
This thing cuts through wood like butter and does not clog. I wish I had this years ago. I finished my guitar necks in double the time and had more control.

Best “What should I use tool”
I build guitars and furniture for my house. Am I good no; but whenever I am not sure what to do this tool does it. Dovetail a little of, need to put a curve to add flair, cut a piece a hair too long - this will fix it.

Pocket Size Wood Chipper?

...effortless shaping...fun?
Using this rasp on hardwoods...essential tool. Both 'grits' cut with only a light touch.

The chaff clears itself
This rasp works really well as there is space between the teeth where the chaff can fall through and not clog. My only negative is that the handle is a bit small for American hands.
