2012 SE Back up camera
I purchased this camera because I didn't want to take my radio out to make the connection. Also I wanted a camera housing that wasn't metal but made of plastic so it wouldn't rust if the plating wasn't great. The unit came quickly and in perfect condition. Everything installed easily but the link to Utube install video wasn't the best one.I followed the instructions of a different video. Mounting the camera needs to be done in the Center and not offline. I did mark the price as a good value BUT there are several others that were listed cheaper and are probably just as good. One could purchase a camera separately and make your own connection with some study of the prints. I chose this one for the simplicity. Testing the camera accuracy I found a 12 inch distance safety margin from the Red indicator on the screen and the actual object behind the car. It also shows good at night time! Camry SE Backup Cam EASIER install intructions
I bought this kit because it was specific for a Camry SE and I didn't have to pull the radio. Several videos are referred to in their ad and they are informative but not the easiest way to install. The easiest way to install was to run the cable under the back seat, had to remove it first, and then under the carpet by the tunnel. Had to remove the center console, videos online to do this, Ended up with alot of extra cable but there was plenty of room available under the Storage Pocket under the radio. If you don't install the ground wire you will see ghosting on the screen. There is an excellent bolt to do this at but you will have to remove the trunk lock panel to get at it on the driver's side. Works perfectly
I got this camera for my Camry SE 2012. It comes with an instruction sheet that shows you the basic steps how to install it, but I decided to watch some youtube videos for more details. Overall it works great. The only down side is that it did not have the tab that connects the red wires. Crystal clear day/decent night

Easy to install, works great!
I replaced an existing rearview camera that was installed at the dealership. This is much better ! The original spliced into wires to the radio, causing a cut wire. This unit requires no wire splicing into the radio!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
