Product Information
Released in 1983, the Minolta X-570 35mm SLR camera makes a high-quality camera for the advanced amateur, with many new features to help with your photography over the popular X-700 model. Some of the new features at the time of its release included a display of the shutter speed visible within the viewfinder when shooting in manual mode. In addition, the X-570 disengages the aperture simulator when previewing the depth of field, allowing for the correct light meter reading, even with the F-stops set. Also, with a PX series flash attached and the mode switched to TTL, the device displays an A for aperture priority. This feature lets you look through the viewfinder and see if the flash works with TTL mode, and further allows you to easily set it for that function. Like the X-700 before it, the TTL metering makes it easy to take manual shots. To add further value, the manual focus camera body works with the full range of Minolta non-AF lenses and the Minolta Program System. Additional features include an automatic exposure lock button, an ISO film speed range of 12 to 3200, and a film safe load indicator, helping you get the best results when shooting your subject matter. Another feature includes the electronically controlled stepless shutter speed, which ranges from 1/1000 to 4 seconds while in aperture priority mode or 1/1000 to 1 second while in metered manual mode. Furthermore, the camera works with a range of interchangeable screens. These screens include a standard screen with a horizontal split image bi-prism surrounded by a microprism ring, a diagonal split image bi-prism, a micro-prism circle, and a plain screen with no focusing aid. Heavy but not bulky, the body of the Minolta X-570 35mm SLR film camera fits comfortably in your hands while remaining compact, with all of the buttons you need within quick reach. Like many film cameras, the X-570 uses 35mm film. The camera also accepts a wide range of lenses, making it useful in a large number of photography situations, including for close-up, zoom, or wide-angle lens shots. When it comes to battery type, the Minolta uses either one 3v lithium or two 1.5v alkaline-manganese batteries. For added value, check out the large selection of lenses available through the Minolta Program System. The numerous accessories available include dedicated flash units, a motor drive (allowing for exposure sequences up 3.5 frames per second), an auto winder, a power grip, a multifunction back, and a wireless controller. Take the perfect photo each time with the easy-to-use Minolta X-570.Product Identifiers
