Industrial quality for retail prices.
I am a fairly heavy user of alkaline batteries as many of my devices are unsuitable for rechargeable types. This is due to the high current that can flow if rechargeable batteries are shorted, or damaged. The range of battery types that are available from this supplier is quite extensive and I have found the quality has always been good. As good as the High Street brand
The Duracell Professional battery is extremely good value compared with the High Street Duracell. I have compared several sizes of the two Duracell types, and found the performance is about equal, but the Professional batteries much cheaper to buy in boxes of ten. Unexpected power if used sensibly.
Been using these regularly and if not put into an impossible situation, they work quite well. I had my previous ones in a tree light set up outside at Christmas and they did better than my solar lights and some other batteries. I'd say that they are midrange use and work well in small portable transistor radios/torches and clocks. Try them out if your on a budget. Don't be caught out by powercuts this Winter

Doorbell rings again
I was recently caught out, when someone tried to ring my doorbell and had to resort to banging on my door to get my attention. A subsequent demo proved that the batteries had died, and there were no spares in teh house. Superb Batteries At A Really Good Price.
We had no hesitation in re-ordering these Procell batteries - we use 6 of them at a time in our garden portable radio and the previous ones have lasted all Summer long and are still going strong. Not ideal for my use!

Yes, they are O.K. I have bought this brand a few times. I cannot fault it. There is not much that one can say about a battery, really. My interest is how long they will work and that is a different story. I use them in devises which are intermittent or interval - like PIRs. Bottom line..... Long Life Alkaline batteries with a name you can trust
These seem to have taken the place of the original 'Gold & Black' bodied batteries we've all come to trust and rely on when looking for a 'long life' battery solution. These match the performance of the 'gold & black' ones and have a similar life span.
